Per part. One part holds 160 characters. A longer text travels in parts of 153; with emoji it is 70 and 67. The opt-out line of a marketing SMS counts too — the editor shows the parts while you write.

Message: a text or a card, at the message price · Session: on a sender set up for conversations, if the person replies within 24 hours, that message costs the session price instead — and everything you send them in the next 24 hours is free · Newsletter: up to one message a day to your subscribers, charged once a month for each subscriber who got at least one. Messages and sessions count towards the same tiers.

The prices above are the entry tier – where every channel starts in your first month. After that, what you sent on a channel last month sets its tier for the whole month: every email, SMS part or RCS message of the month costs that tier's price, and nothing changes in the middle of a month. Each channel has its own tiers and is counted on its own, across your whole organisation, per calendar month. A new price list only ever applies from a coming month – a running month keeps its price. One price for every German mobile network. Prices exclude VAT: it is added when you buy credit — German VAT in Germany, none for a business elsewhere in the EU with a VAT ID (reverse charge) or outside the EU — and every top-up gets an invoice that shows it.

Optional — you only need a number to send SMS from your own number, to set up a WhatsApp Community or for a mailbox. Billed monthly from your prepaid credit; cancel any time to the end of the paid month. What you send is billed as above; texts you receive are free. A landline's mailbox includes incoming calls within fair use. Prices exclude VAT.
